Eric! You gotta be kidding man. I'm sad to see her go, I hope she ends up in the hands of someone who appreciates how rare and beautiful this car is!
I'll say first had I've seen it, heard it, ridden in it, chased it down the highway and drooled over it. This car is perfect inside and out and the interior is something of perfection!
GLWS man!
Funny thing is I just had the f-car vs p-car conversation at work the other day... I don't know how you can beat a 997tt.
P.S. Let me know if you're itching for some cash and want to hear that exhaust paired with some kleemann headers on my car

Thanks man you have dibs on the exhaust if I take her back to stock. I'm still torn between the two, also thinking maybe 996 GT2? plus I'm not serious about selling my car so I may never sell it. In any event I'm adding another car between now and X-mas so I have some time to think about it. Not every buyer is looking for THE lowest priced E55 on the planet, you get what you pay for. Everyone knows how Well my cars are taken care of and I'm not going to give it away. I'm patient so when it sells it sells.

miles are BS!!!!!!!!!!!
Just sold a S55 with 131k miles for $18500........car was a solid rock...rode and drove just like a 20k mile car....I am selling a CL65 with 79k miles...seats look like they never have been sat in....perfect condition....
WORRIED ABOUT MILES?
WORRY ABOUT THE WAY THE CAR WAS TREATED screw the miles........
KNOWN fact...80% of the Mercedes in for service are all LOW MILE cars...the S55 had 4 repairs done in 6 years....go figure...maybe they are meant to be driven?
lol

I was asked to provide additional details about the warranty and I need to make a correction on warranty info:
Chrysler Service Contracts Top of the line 36 Month Warranty
- Fully transferable
- Covers just about everything bumper to bumper. Including Super Charger and Air suspension.
- Does not cover consumables Tires, belts, oil, brake pads, filters, etc.
Maximum Care: 3 Years, Unlimited Miles: Expires March 15th 2013
- $100 Deductible
Road Hazard Tire and Wheel: 3 Years, Unlimited Miles: Expires March 15th 2013
- $0 Deductible
Paid $3,680 for Warranty.

I have a few questions on your car:
1. When is the next major service due?
2. How are the brakes?
3. How loud is the Meisterchaft exhaust? I've read all of the posts. One guy says it's too loud someone else says not loud enough. What's your take?

Now for the exhaust. First off I think it should be a requirement to have this exhaust installed on all E55s. It sounds that good! Take your pick either Meisterchaft or Eisenmann are a great choice and sound similar, I’ve had both. It is not loud at all. With windows up you can hear it but it’s not obnoxious and you can carry on a conversation without raising your voice. I actually get compliments on the sound of the car just about every time a passenger rides with me. In my opinion it makes driving the car that much more fun. I have had many exhausts on other cars that were extremely loud. Loud being you set off car alarms when you pass. You will not get that with this exhaust. It sounds perfect IMHO, paired perfectly with the 5.5 Engine. I have never thought to myself, this thing sounds cool but I am embarrassed. If I had only one mod that I could purchase for the car it would be this exhaust with a close second being the DTM steering wheel with paddle shifters. They are two mods I could not live without. If you were to buy the car and decided you did not like the sounds I can send you a list of people that have sent PM's asking to part it out. However, I am pretty sure you would find it sounds awesome.
I hope this helps feel free to PM me

I have purchased most of my cars out of state. If you're serious and find exactly what you want take a flight check it out and then have the car transported. Or if you have the time drive it back. It will cost $500-600 to transport depending on your location. If there are specific colors, options, etc. that you really want it usually takes a trip out of state to find what you want. I am planning on purchasing a 360 after Jan 1st I will definatley need to go out of state to find exactly what I want. Anyway in general you should not be deterred from purchases states away. If you can get well documented information, pics, video, etc. Or ask someone on the forum who is local to check out the car. Then at least you will have a good feeling of what you will be looking at when you fly out to inspect the car yourself, really no surprises. I purchased my 996 03 turbo from California using those methods, the car was delivered just as it was described. Anyway thanks for the comment, it is a special car.
Last bit of advice whatever you do buy a car that has a warranty that will cover you for the duration of the time you plan on owning the beast. Warranty prices have skyrocketed the last few months in most cases over double the price they used to sell for. This would cost you 5-7k+ to get you into a warranty that i think is mandatory. Some companies won't write a warranty for AMG cars. My point is, these cars are awesome but, you need to be protected. Many people on this forum were smart enough to buy the CSC warranty when it was available. Because we shared the information and the importance of the warranty as a community. I think local cars owened by someone who is not a major car enthusiast may not be privy to this type of information. The chances they have an aftermarket warranty are rare. In most cases if they were under CPO they have either expired or are about to expire.

Sounds good I would be more than happy to show the car. I live downtown near coots field.
Also, I've listed the car on ebay.

Will see how long I can hold out but I'd like to buy something this winter before spring. I'm reading every thread on FChat soaking in as much 369 knowledge as I can. These cars are supposed to be cheaper in the winter. Selling the E55 is not keeping me from buying the 360 although between parking in my loft and insurance it will cost me an extra $500 mo. So I'd like to sell the car prior to getting the 360.
Funny thing about Ferrari guys most of them do not drive their cars. God forbid the OD rolls past 9,999 you are doomed. The majority of these cars are under 30K miles. What a shame to have such an amazing machine and not drive it!

I had a 2003 X50 Turbo before the E55 and an LR3 *nice* winter beater. I miss having a sports car to drive on the weekends. My heart is set on the 360, i've wanted one for 10 years. My car is getting 4 brand new CL65 Reps on Tuesday. It will be perfect with nothing needed. Just drive it. It's now up on Ebay with a BIN of $33K and opening bid with NR for $30K. It has 15 watchers so we will see if it sells... BTW the Ferrari will be driven, but cared for like a garage queen and driven prob 5-6K miles a year. My last 8 cars have been treated the same.
Thanks for the compliments! have fun in the 63 you will enjoy it, no doubt about that!

At this time, I have no interest in parting it out... There are 8 people that have asked to purchase the exhaust lol!
