All of my cars have always been pampered and well taken care of. It is in tip top condition and well taken care of. It went through a full PPI 3 months ago and passed with flying colors. AMG Lit door sill LED filament needs to be replaced. No known mechanical issues (verified by Warranty PPI at Mercedes Westminster in April), one very small passenger door ding, and handful or rock chips a very small number. It's condition inside and out is equal to a low mile car.
Air struts in front were replaced and this spring I had the front bumper resprayed I was bumped into at low impact causing the paint to spider web. I had the work done at one of the best body shops in Denver specializing in highline european cars. Also the front bumper was replaced and resprayed a couple of years ago after I ran over the concrete parking block damaging the lower part of the bumper. The paint on this car is immaculate.
Why am I selling, well I have limited parking spaces within my enclosed garage and I need to make room for something Italian this winter... :v Lot's of people can attest to the validity of this car and it's fine condition. It's a very rare AMG amongst a crowd of overproduced E55 AMG's. I really want to find someone who can appreciate everything this car has to offer. I am not looking for low ball offers as I am not in a hurry to sell the car. I prefer to sell it before winter as it will be stored after October until the spring.
According to AMG there were 7 President's Edition cars built. All 7 were Tectite Grey with charcoal interior. They were early 2003 and had all options available in 2003 basically everything but panoramic (not offered in 2003) including Nav which was not offered until late 03. It also had some additional options like SS AMG Lit door sills, 19" Wheels, and a 12 piece carbon fiber interior with AMG inlaid logo. Something I also found out recently the leather door panels have double stitching and the supple leather is gathered along the panel like the Designo interior.

Well I have a few things going for me at this point, it's rare, includes $3K- 3 year warranty which is fully transferable (which is no longer offered), I have time (It's replacement will be purchased this winter) and no major financial desperation to sell the car... I guess I look at it as this is not your typical E55 and it does demand a premium and the right buyer.
* Also I'm not looking to part it out.

2005 c55
Wow,
one sweet car good luck with the sale. With that price you are competing with 2005 and 2006 models with less mileage but if you can get that more power to you as it is rare and very clean.

Not true.
It was the heaviest optioned E55 in 03'.
12 piece cf package.
Metal AMG Crest inlaid in the ashtray door under clear coat ( according to dealer who had to source the missing carbon fiber clove box flipper through AMG when I purchased the car it's a titanium. crest. 12 pc. replacement cost through AMG was $12K 3 years ago.)
Lit AMG door sills
NAV Command (not available in 03 exclusive to PE in 03' )
Heated seats
Distronic
TPMS
Comfort seats
Mechanical sun shade
HID
Napa leather (Designo style door panels. Gathered supple leather and deviating stitching but not two tone leather, again exclusive to PE in 03')
Keyless go
Integrated phone
All 7 were Tectite paint
I will point out AMG knows how to lay carbon. This is the highest quality carbon i've ever seen 7 years later it is still extreamly glossy and has not yellowed it's still dark grey / black as it came from the factory. Also no peeling like the Porsche CF.

360 MODENA
Will see how long I can hold out but I'd like to buy something this winter before spring. I'm reading every thread on FChat soaking in as much 369 knowledge as I can. These cars are supposed to be cheaper in the winter. Selling the E55 is not keeping me from buying the 360 although between parking in my loft and insurance it will cost me an extra $500 mo. So I'd like to sell the car prior to getting the 360.
Funny thing about Ferrari guys most of them do not drive their cars. God forbid the OD rolls past 9,999 you are doomed. The majority of these cars are under 30K miles. What a shame to have such an amazing machine and not drive it!

GTR not my style... The other car I am considering is a 997TT. I loved my 996TT, I really enjoyed that car... I have the concerns you've mentioned. But it's where my heart is at.

Definitely a nice ride. Looks like you had this car for sale in Nov 08 for $30k. Have E55s gone up in price since then? I wasn't watching prices back then. I assume your new price is factoring in the warranty you have since purchased.

Yes prices have gone up since then...
First this is not an E55 you will be able to buy everyday. You will be lucky to see another pop up. It just needs the right buyer who can appreciate what it is. So comparing 1:1 to pricing of this or that E55 is unfair.
These were added this spring... So an extra $3K for the items below is not that bad.
$3500 for a 36 Mo unlimited bumper to bumper top of the line warranty (Which is no longer available so it's a good thing I bought it when I did)
Added Meisterchaft Exhaust
Added DTM Steering wheel
Added Paddle Shifters
Added Rear 4 Fin CF Diffuser
Added Front CF Lip
Added Bluetooth Puck
New front Air strut
Repaired SC clutch pack chirp

Because they fall apart like a chinese built motorcycle, but they cure midlife crisis
Service cost another reason why they all under 30k.

Eric! You gotta be kidding man. I'm sad to see her go, I hope she ends up in the hands of someone who appreciates how rare and beautiful this car is!
I'll say first had I've seen it, heard it, ridden in it, chased it down the highway and drooled over it. This car is perfect inside and out and the interior is something of perfection!
GLWS man!
Funny thing is I just had the f-car vs p-car conversation at work the other day... I don't know how you can beat a 997tt.
P.S. Let me know if you're itching for some cash and want to hear that exhaust paired with some kleemann headers on my car
