Exactly! I am continually amazed how many people feel the need to 'be heard' and crap on someones thread instead of just moving on when they have no legitimate interest in the car or item for sale. I suspect it is the people who have no power or authority in their daily or personal lives, so they try to use it here. 
chawkins has VERY nice cars, and does clean and tasteful modifications, and seems to take very good care of his cars. Anyone who is serious about these cars knows that the piece of mind that comes with that is worth the money. Quality costs money. Plain and simple.

alx, find a 2006 E55 with my miles, brand new 4yr platinum warranty to 75K miles with deductible, up to date maintenance, all out the door price of $33,900 with my cosmetic and limited performance mods, upgraded sound and additional mods sitting in my garage for the right buyer. If you can, I will lower my price to $29.5K.
I don't see how you are expecting to get anywhere near $30,000 but a sucker is born every minute so any attempt is worth a try in my opinion. It just might take very long or never happen.

Don't know about the other folks, but if you would like to understand why I post price guidances every now and then feel free to read the sticky thread on the top of this forum about car selling tips. That should explain why the owner most of the time does not know what their car is worth and people like me do.

There are so many things that come to mind....but the one I will say for you and everyone else who criticizes people for asking prices and plays Monday Morning AMG Market Quarterback....USE THE PM FUNCTION!! If you REALLY want to help the seller, and are not just posting to see yourself talk, have the courtesy to speak with the seller PRIVATELY instead of mucking up their thread. Common courtesy. I am sure you would not like it if you went to work and someone walked up and started bashing you and your work while you were talking to a customer or your boss. Just sayin.
First is to educate masses on proper pricing. Seller Price gouging on those cars is unreal and shows unrealistic expectations because those folks were taken when they bought their vehicle in the first place. Yes, most of you were taken.
Second I do it for the seller as the sooner s/he realizes what the actionable price is, the sooner s/he will sell their car and move on with their lives.
After all we are here to help each other and waking up somebody from a bad dream is considered help, right?
Btw, if of any interest I have sold and bought 0 cars from leads on this forum, so...

Good luck selling the car bro,I also have mine for sale and put it for 34k on craigslist and get nothing but dreamers telling me my car is priced to high.
I got one kid that offered me 18k LOL I told him I have over 4,000 worth of carbon fiber just under the hood.
Im so sick of people telling us what our cars are worth.
on a side note pm me if you wana sell the ttm intakes

Thanks, it is a very clean, mildly modded E55. She will continue to get upgrades.
I wanted to share that at $31K, you will not get the warranty. I paid $3250 for it and it can be transferred or cancelled with a refund issued. I don't expect to get $3250 for the warranty if the buyer wants it, but I am not giving it away either. We could find a middle ground for both party's. Thanks for looking....
