How many miles are on the car and condition(thread) of the tires ?

The car has 16,700 miles. The tires are in good shape. The rear probably has another 5,000 miles at least and the front at least 15,000 miles. I have not raced the car or done burnouts.

 

Push your dealer for a bit more. Throw some new tires on it. Be patient and you can still get a fairly decent price for the car despite what people might say here. Remember, the folks here are savvy about the AMGs and are looking for bargains. If you've checked all the sources (MBUSA, eBay, Autotrader, etc.) you'll know there aren't a lot for sale. And there are buyers who do want the new COMAND system, Nav, and VC of the 2009 (431 2009s were sold in the US.) Manheim's prices are one thing but what they actually sell for to a regular Joe on the street (and not a MBWorld member) is another thing.

I looked at the ebay offering - the 08 has double the miles of mine. If that is listing for $47,000 then my car is worth mid $50s at least.

nice - i picked up one of these cars in April from Freehold, nj dealer

took it for $59K as a CPO, 17K miles (P30) and the tire/wheel pkg. Dealer was a scumbag - whole bit with the managers walking back and forth, but its a CPO and so forth. Couldn't be happier with the car, but never going back to Freehold's MB dealer.
