W211 E55 Wagon, E46 M3
the cost of the front E63 brake rotors (OEM) are 4-5 times more expensive than the ones for E55. does anyone know why? It was one of the reasons I decided to go with the E55.

I hear you on the 63's torque! Already on my second 6.2L I can tell you that it is very addictive.
I usually keep my cars for many years (still have my 1981 w123 that took me every day to college almost twenty years ago) and even though I do not consider them an investment, I would like to think that the car I buy could eventually become some sort of classic![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Likely selling the 07 E63 Wagon shortly.....
So I'm likely going to sell my wagon, after only a few months of owning it..... I love the car, but will be given a 24/7 car for work soon and the payment/insurance doesn't justify it sitting in the garage to be driven once a month.
First posting about this car is on Page 29 of this forum, on 9/4/13. I later added some info about the car and some pictures.
I'm not quite ready to hand it over, it will likely be in a week or two, but I figure I'd give you all dibs first.
Everything's really the same, except the miles are now almost at 88k. (I initially accidentally posted 84k) New tires within the past 2k miles and fresh alignment at MB Dealer.
I also picked up MB rubber floor mats, roof rack, surfboard pads, and 4 bike racks for it.
I'd like to get $29k for it. I'll try to advertise it a few places before going much lower than that.
Shoot me a PM if you're interested at all. I'm in San Diego area. I can meet somebody within a reasonable distance if there is serious interest.
Thanks!

I have a couple people interested but no deposit yet. I wanted to drop a line and let you know I accidentally stated the car has 84k instead of almost having 88k. Not a major difference, but didn't want to seem sneaky!
I've corrected the initial for sale ad.
Also, I could likely hand over the car almost immediately, as I'm taking delivery of a running project car this week.
Thank you for your interest!

the actual transporter company turns out to be Plycar. I'm guessing Cosmic subcontracted out the job. Plycar gave me a quote of 2k when I called directly so I lucked out paying only ~1600.

that was my point when i initially posted about carriers... the dealer or it's affiliates will get much better rates simply because of the volume they use IF they use the same carriers each time... if they're on the bidding system then it's a crap shoot but you'll still get the cheapest transport rates...

KBB doesn't matter on a wagon. There are so few of them around, it is hard for the normal sources to place a true value on these cars.
The car looks like it is in good shape for nearly 150k miles. Swap out the wood and merlot insert sets for another set and it would be a sweet car.
Someone got a pretty good deal.

09' E63 wagon ( white ), 09' E63 wagon ( grey )
I had the deposit on it. I drove my E500 and my E55 to Savannah and it was a done deal till I actually saw the car. I estimated $15-20K to make that an AMG and not a truck! It is in very rough shape, interior is probably a 4 out of 10 and exterior a 5 out of 10. The front end repair was not done right and you could see the seems not aligning up and the hood was higher on the right side. The rear hatch doesn't close because it's crooked and it already shaved the paint on the right pillar. The back seat was torn by the owner's dog or dogs, hair everywhere and super bad odor. There is rust on the side panel on the back rear window. I can go on and on but the bottom line is that it is a E55 wagon that can be brought back to life by someone with money to spare. It wasn't for me.

At that price the condition it sits in should have been expected. It was priced way too low not to be in rough shape like it is.

As an aside, does anyone know what the PA '06 wagon offered by Bruce sold for? It was listed at ~$35K on Ebay, and bidding went to $29K IIRC.
