that was going to be me, but a local guy in LA beat me to it (i'm 500 miles N) - i was 90% there - was ready to fly to LA this weekend but earlier in the week the sellers and my schedules didn't sync up due to travel and such. i am 2nd in line, but he said the buyer is a car guy so it is not likely i'll get this one - anyone on here the buyer?

Hi Guys...long time reader, first time poster. I currently own a 2005 E500 and have been thinking of upgrading to an 2007-2009 E63 sedan or wagon. Any thoughts on the car below:

Looks like its been on eBay before, but I havent seen it mentioned in this thread. Car looks clean from the photos, states it was recently serviced and still has over 1 year of warranty left. Anyone have any additional info? Any reason why it's been left off this thread?

Thanks for the heads up...I definitely missed that. I havent seen any other lower mileage cars available on eBay or Autotrader. Any other places I should be looking?

I just wanted to drop a quick note in this thread publically thanking FASN8N for all your dilligent work keeping this thread alive. It's been incredibly helpful in my search for a new car and provides a great sales history to help research cars as well.

That said... I am now the proud new owner of a 2005 E55 Wagon with 46k miles on it. Really one of the few I could find with relatively low miles on it. Given it's milage and and age, I was even able to get Penn Fed financing and a Route 66 warranty on it (yay e-class). So After a flight out to NOLA... I have to say this car is in impeccable condition! It's being shipped out to phoenix and I'll be sure to post all kinds of "new daddy" pics

You've already got it in your registry Row 4. I bought it from carbine motorcars. It's incredible how well documented this car's history is. Full records through 3 owners. Even the engine bay was clean down into the deepest crevicies. I honestly don't think this car has ever seen snow or rain.

I'm going to be honest... I fear I'm going to use it like a car and not a collectable and let the previous owners down. That said, I'll do what I can to live upto this car's history!

We'll see. I needed a kid hauler for the newborn.... and kid haulers don't get much better than this.

Congrats - looks like a great car. Trust you had some good eats in the big easy when you were down there. NOLA was my old stomping ground and I remember checking out Carbine's cars from time to time.

I have fallen into the latter category, putting 2000 miles in the year and a half that I've had mine. Fun filled miles nonetheless.
