Any luck finding one? On the other end of the spectrum, I may be persuaded to sell/trade my E320 Wagon (non-nav)... hehe It's no E55 or E65 for that matter, but it does get me from point A to B with some respectable MPG's.

E63 Estate - Wagon
My wifes 2007 E63 Estate (Wagon) is still for sale on Autotrader.com Black/Black
I just picked up the car from MB of Ft Lauderdales body shop where they just completed a 4 hour Laser frame inspection and visual review. AutoCheck report noted in history that auction had declared "frame damage" on the car, CarFax is clean. This inspection today was to get that removed from the car's history and this is in process with AutoCheck. The report indicates no prior damage or repairs, so i can only imagine someone was trying to get a deal at the auction or it was a admin mistake. The dealer i purchased the car from is dealing with AutoCheck directly to clear this up.
Car is very clean, next service is due in 9200 miles. Warranty is expired but you can purchase one from Mercedes dealer for around $6,400. There are no outstanding or pending repairs needed.
Can link to dropbox with HiRes photos and inspection report. Also can arrange for pre-inspection (at your cost) with Fort Lauderdale Mercedes, they did last service less than 2k miles ago. Showing 49,2xx on the odometer.

Yeah that thing looks great. Kind of made me wish I had gotten a black one then remembered how much of a pain it is to own a black car.

I pulled the data card from EPC. The color is Obsidian black (197u) over the usual Anthracite leather. Options on the car are:
- Rear door sunblinds
- Drive dynamic seats
- Heated/cooled seats
- Nav
- Bi-xenon headlamps
- CD changer
- Folding seat in cargo area
- Automatic door in cargo area
So I guess it's a premium package car with 3rd row seat and automagic door as standalone options.
The previous owner is an avid and meticulous enthusiast. The dealership knows him well; he has purchased 10 cars in the last 5 years. All his cars are in spectacular condition. He traded this car in on a 2K mile C55 (I think it was a C55). Now, you might think that is crazy - but he owns another E55 wagon. When there are only 150ish in the country, it doesn't seem fair for someone to own two...
Next big question is what to do about an extending the warranty. I have 1 year of MB CPO. An additional 2 years is $4500. Will have to research whether 3rd party can offer a better value.

I'll be there with an orange Lotus Elise. Who would've ever thought a guy with a manual transmission, two-seat, lightweight, high-revving sports car would be drooling over a station wagon?!

Thanks all, I am looking forward to rejoining the 55K club. I sold my very nice '06 sedan earlier this year and have been missing it a bunch.
Murphy's law being in full effect, this car popped up right as I am leaving to go overseas for a few weeks. I'll put up some photos when I finally retrieve it, but don't hold your breath. It will be staying in Atlanta until near the end of October.
Thanks much! Makes me feel much better about buying the car long distance.
I already emailed our own Bruce Mendel (brucem105@comcast.net) for a quote on the NAC exclusionary warranty he sells. Many folks here seem to be pleased with it. Just over $5K for 4 year/50K mile coverage. Of course, year 1 would run concurrently with CPO, so it's really 3 extra years. MB offers 2 extra years for $4.5K. The aftermarket warranty actually covers more things on the car. But it has a copay, whereas MB CPO is zero copay.
Given the age and miles on your car are different, the cost and coverage for you would be different.
I am leaning toward taking the 1 year MB coverage and then buying an aftermarket warranty in Sept. 2012. I may or may not get longer coverage on the car, but can at least defer that expense 1 year into the future.
Thanks man, consider me officially out of the market. I did not call on that Colorado car, so don't have any information. The low mileage is tempting, but that it comes with snow tires & wheels is enough to take it off my list. If you want, I can pull the data card to see how it's equipped.

I didn't realize you hadn't seen it yet! It's a bit far from me so pictures are probably unlikely, but the condition is absolutely like new. The friend I brought with me (Corolla driver, not into cars) was surprised when I told her it wasn't a new car. I hope you enjoy it very much when you finally get it shipped out! I'm extremely jealous!!!

I really appreciate your comments on the condition. Sounds like there won't be any issue with the appearance. Hearing positive feedback from a car guy is great. Don't be concerned with taking photos, at this point everything seems to be working out just fine.

That's literally everything I want. Was about to ring the Dupont guy, except for the fact the chickie all the sudden goes: I'm going to find a crappy $300/mo lease car and expense it. Read: you're not getting that wagon.
![Nonono](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nonono2.gif)
And the saga continues. Thanks for running the vin thru EPC/returning to the thread either way. Come back when you drive the car home!
Edit: just realized, this car is nearly IDENTICAL to Shadow's save for the vintage. How weird is that?

MB Collision report listed on the e-bay pictures with no description of extent of repairs.
Must be why price is as low as it is.
