She's all mine...cannot wait to experience this car and all it's glory. Looking forward to learning so much more via the forum
Sadly after a deposit was made, car price was agreed upon , shipping deposit was made and car went through PDI at a local Mercedes...the seller wanted more money at the final hour. Great guy but never have I had that happen in the 20+cars I've bought and sold in my lifetime. Car checked out great at the dealer in case anyone was wondering...wish it was mine sadly still. Good luck to those interested in it!

Update on low mile E 55 wagon in MN

So because I had to go back to work, I put a deposit on it and....I am the lucky owner.
There was no negotiating on price; especially after I have been watching the Enthusiast Auto site and others.
I did want to add that this car is so perfect in all ways that Feldmann's offered me a 4 year or 70,000 mile bumper to bumper extended warranty. ( and it won't be seeing the miles in that time period). Not too many cars of this age get that kind of coverage! ( it is now July and I have only put 1000 miles on it. What a great car it is!). I also got the clear bra since there were no chips on the car, courtesy of Feldmann's. I would highly recommend them as a dealer for anyone looking to buy...
Plus one to that. These Wagon are special in 211 guise or 212 guise. I find they have a lot in common with each other and with people's sensibility about them.
I feel like the prices have come down a bit, maybe because there's been more showing up recently (at a rate of I'd say 1-2 a month for the last 3-4 months)
This looks like a very low or no option car. Color isn't that great IMO either. It's been sitting for at least 4 months, fyi.
True.. but in 2005 you only had so many options. Personally I am just a fan of the engine.. the M113 is a rock, I miss mine. Other than NAV and Parktronic.. the HID lights are all I'd be looking for. Granted not the "best" color... but not a bad one either.

Given the age these cars are reaching, low options count has its attractions. The NAV system was good for its time, but can't even begin to compete with a smartphone today. Dynamic seats have always been slightly annoying, and are moreso when they break. And take a look at the thead on replacing the hatch gas struts on cars with a power hatch vs. without.
I like the HIDs, they are better than the H7 halogens. And the cooled seats are a little bit nice. Would rather not have the 3rd row seat (you lose the spare tire), or NAV, or dynamic seats, or power hatch. My $.02.
Feldmann Imports listed another low mileage Pewter Metallic Wagon today. Pewter Metallic+Brown Leather with Burl Walnut Veneer Wood are the absolute worst colors and trims that were offered. It will be interesting to see if this car sells quickly. Also the car originally came with two keys and I'm perplexed the dealer would go to the length to add an image to their ad that states the missing key "...may be purchased through our parts department."
I bought this one, Palm Springs Package and all. The car was flawless, not a nick or a scratch. All service records and previously owned and serviced by someone as **** as I am with cars. And yes, it came with 2 keys as well as new tires (Michelin), New rotors/pads as well as a full service including transmission, rear end fluid and brake fluid.
The only thing it doesn't have is the rear cargo cover which I'd like to locate. Fun car, and it will be my winter vehicle when I put the Porsche away.
No I didn't pay $49,9. But I did pay more than most would have because (1) I wanted one and (2) this particular car was flawless.
