See posts #1764 and #1766 regarding this car. This thread is becoming an S211 registry and resource of sorts and this is why its so helpful when people take the time to include the VINs when they add cars to this thread-- thank you for including the VIN, Shivatron.
No worries on the VIN. Also, on the previous posts (for the lazy: they indicate that the last time the car was for sale, the motor needed cams and there was some debate on whether the service would be performed). Best case scenario here is that the work was done and the seller just neglected to mention it.
My 08 is officially up for sale.
Once the rain stops ill be taking to the detail shop to give the carpets and leather a professional refresh - i'd like to get it waxed but due to the weather in the BAY i can't justify a $200 wax when it will rain the very next day
I have had a few reach out prior to sale, but now that it is up on CL - first one with $$ takes it.
It has been cared for by the dealer when i had warranty and then with my local shop (Mercedes Connexcion) - also just went to dealership to ensure no campaigns that were open and my car was never involved in any campaigns - the car has been a joy, just found one i couldn't live without
Capri Blue with Cashmere Int - 1 of 6 with color combination
All the usual options less parktronic and distronic
Newer 2 piece GiroDisc Brakes (front/back)
Just had the fuel sender units replaced (under warranty)
3rd row - never used
6 disc - HK sound
Always garaged - hand washed - absolutely have loved the car
I just brought home a 2014 E63s Wagon on Saturday which means my 08 is officially up for sale.

Everything is up to date on the car - for an 08 its in great condition. One ding on driver passenger door and one on the hood (was then when bought it)

I hope it finds a good home! Your E63 Wagon is indeed special because it was previously a Mercedes-Benz USA press car and it used to wear the California license plate "DST 5506": http://www.roadandtrack.com/new-cars...e63-amg-wagon/
Just my luck that as I want to dive into the E55 wagon pool, it all dried up. Looks like I am a couple months late. So much so, that this popular, well-read thread hasn't even been touched in almost a week!
Taking the time to list this car properly so the VIN and mileage are documented in this thread. Hopefully this car will go to a good home and not to an owner who will screw it up with modifications-- good to see it survived this long. These cars look great when they are Black (040) and have the stock AMG Type IV wheels.

We've bantered on this before, maybe I'm grumpy because it's Monday morning. Understanding that you're a purist and I'm not, but keep your opinion to yourself as you come off as brash with it. You're out of line with your comment above.

New listing and the seller mentions it is completely stock except for the wheels which is nice to see. Also from what I understand another E55 Wagon may soon be listed at Carmax in Madison, TN.

from the pics doesn't look like they replaced the brakes with 2 piece rotors - kind of looks beat up from the pics listed - will go cheap, but there is a reason -

E55 doesn't use the 2 piece rotors. I agree it does look beat up and lots of sun exposure. Interesting it's coming from Florida when they say it's a Beverly Hills dealer serviced car and has California plates.

interesting that they cancelled the auction less then a day before it was supposed to end with reserve not met at around $27k

The dealer originally listed the car on their website for $25,100 and once they realized the car was underpriced they began negotiating deals outside of eBay.

All German Auto has a good track record so I'm sure the car was competently serviced. The optional Walnut Veneer Wood trim, Dynavin, and ride-height aren't ideal but looks to be a good car.
