2002 E55 AMG for Sale
Selling my 2002 E55 with 64,422 miles......driven about 18,500 miles over the last 4 years....
No dents, door dings or accidents. However, there are a few, actually three, stone chips on the hood. Yes, they did bother me and, yes, I have counted them.
The interior is "Charcoal/Grey AMG-design Nappa leather" with interior trim "Black Bridseye Maple wood" and the exterior color is "Capri Blue metallic". New Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus fronts as of today and rears as of 500 miles ago.
Car drives beautifully. It was never abused. The first owner was an older gentleman who kept the car in the garage---have maintenance history. He needed to trade it in for a 4x4 due to local down economy, Ohio in 4/21/07.....only thing when I bought it was the curb rash on two of the wheels--touch and feel parking and the top of the steering wheel leather is worn. Have original grill and star.
I bought the E55 because I could not fit the whole family in my '79 Corvette, which I sold with 35K. I also have an ML55AMG as well as ML430, just fyi.

Just about to post on Cars.com. It is coming up on 30 days since I added a 4th vehicle and I will need to start paying insurance on 4th car (only two drivers in house) SO....any takers if price is reduced $1,000.00 ?

wana put up a few more pix. Capri is an unusual color for a 210, especially an E55. Do you have any paper repair records, books, keys, etc? Title in hand or attached? Carfax report or at least VIN...
I'm afraid you may not know how hard these cars have fallen, and yes, you are still in range (or higher) of a miley W211--which is much more car. Good luck in your quest...

Mmmm, no....
Don't think so. A 15k ask might lead to some 13 ish offers though, which is still a big number. I like the color, but it's tough for resale, and you still have at least two curbed wheels that need to be refinished as well.
Nice looking car, just sad that they won't do anymore money. It is after all, a 10 year old performance sedan, with limited financing options, and not much street cred anymore.

I truly believe this car still worth $14k to $15k. Its the last W210 E55 and 2 tone color. IMO the asking price and realistic price might be very different but who knows, some guy who wants to collect a last year of W210 might go for it. GLWS !

very, very few--if any--late model Benz cars will be collectible. There are just too many produced. And even if they were, a collector would want a silver car with no miles. This car already has 60+k and is blue (capri is pretty, but blue cars are tough). Hey, I like the 210 E55, but it's sort of a sad commentary how cars like this have been passed by. Nice driver tho. And I'll buy it today-I need another sedan. But not at that number....
