FS: 2012 E350 Bluetec - Lease takeover

Looking to have someone assume my 2012 E350 Bluetec. Great way to get into a short term lease without the dealer headache and upfront costs!
Mint condition, has opti-coat protecting the paint since day 1.. the water just slides off. The car still smells new.

24 month/12k mls lease. Has 7k miles now and 7.5 months into the lease.

Black/Ash Mbtex
Sport package
P2 package
Split fold rear seat

2/20k maint package is included in the lease payment.

I'd ask the buyer to pay the 10 security deposits upfront. Payment is 470 including MA sales tax (6.25%).

What do you mean by "pay the 10 security deposits upfront"?

It is a multiple security deposit lease. I'd ask the buyer to pay me the security deposits as they will be refunded that amount at the lease end.

Thanks. How much then are you looking to get upfront for the security deposits?

Do you have any other pictures of the car? Is it drilled for a front plate?

Each security deposit is 1 payment rounded up to the next 50. I have to look at my contract. I believe it is 10 payments of 500 dollars upfront. Again, this will be fully refunded to you at the end of the lease. Once the lease gets transferrd to you so do the deposits, they get refunded to you. Basically, it buys down the interest rate on the lease to give it such a favorable payment. I will post additional pics tomorrow, it does have a front plate as its the law in MA. The car has no rock chips or anything, it is in really mint condition.

I've never heard of this type of lease. So, you're wanting $4,000 up front for the 8 security deposits you've made, and then I'd owe another $1,000 for 2 more security deposit payments, but the total of $5,000 will be refunded to me at lease end? Do I have this right?

Also interested in the details of this lease transfer. Your first post said no upfront costs, but in fact the new owner would have to reimburse you for 10 security deposits you paid when you leased the car, which would then be refunded to the new owner by MB financial at the end of the lease pending there is no damage to the car. Right? Or are there any other deductions at the end of the lease the new owner can expect like tire and brake wear, etc...??
And you also mentioned that the lease payment of $470 includes Massachusetts sales tax. Does that mean that if I take over a lease and this is a private party lease transfer I do not have to pay additional taxes in my state, or do I??

Thank you

The money you would owe me is to repay the security deposit I put on the car which is reimbursed to you at lease end. They MAY deduct the lease termination fee from it if you do not lease another mercedes benz, I've always gotten into another car so I am not sure (waived). This is standard with all MBFinancial leases. If you damage the car that is your responsibility, you will be assuming a car with absolutely no damage, it is mint.

Sales tax is included in the payment 6.25%. If your state has lower sales tax your payment will go down, if it has higher sales tax the payment will go up.
