2005 E55 for sale
Traveled by car to MO from CO yesterday to purchase this car . Read add! Car is 100% being misrepresented. If your interested in this car please be very cautious -This car checks out great on paper. I spent a lot of hours to ensure all was what I thought. On inspection the car has had paint work on the hood and drivers fender. Window frames on drivers side have also been repainted in place with bad over spray on the doors. Can visually see tape lines from paint. There is also excessive wear on drivers door and gash on trim that are not shown in pictures. Car has just been re-posted on E bay today.

Good to know. I am looking too, and with so many cars out of state makes me think about buying sight unseen. Shame on the seller here as he markets this car as unblemished!

Fortunately the one way car rental I got to Springfield MO was pretty cheap, not to mention that I managed to get another one way rental on very short notice at a good rate to drive back to CO. Drive was nice, would have been worse if it had been snowing.
Absolutely worth checking cars in person, I'm not naive but I was shocked that the dealer had the Gaul to say he did not know. With no exaduration with in 2 mins of looking at car I noticed the paintwork. The dealer began to cuss me for wasting his time. I think he was pissed because I called him out to him in person and he got caught. Kinda of amusing after the fact that he said that as he drove 1.5hrs to me in a town he told me he was going to that day for an auction and I drove almost 12 hrs plus hotel. Got to keep a sense of humor no matter how unfortunate it was.
Still looking patiently ...

Good catch on the tires.. Have to admit I would never have thought to look at tire rotation. All new was they were new. Ill keep that in mind while looking.

Sounds like an honest seller. The spray paint cans were used BEFORE the pictures were taken 3 weeks ago. Seller sounds like a master of the half truth.
OP, good sense of humor, it is not on you, it is on the dishonest seller. Always important to be willing to walk away, I had a similar event this week, drove with cash to see a well-written fairy tale of a grandpa's car story.
