Selling my prized possession 2006 Mercedes Benz C55 ///AMG. Simply put this is vehicle is an axe murderer in an Armani Suit. All the trappings of a true luxury sedan and the soul of a muscle car that can actually handle and brake. Mechanically sound, runs & drives excellently. Original TX vehicle has never seen a winter and has been well maintained. As a past professional auto detailer, it has been my pleasure to ensure this C55 looks beautiful inside and out. Only a few minor stone chips as would be expected in a car her age. Interior is impeccable, just replaced all ///AMG logo floormats. Tires/Brakes are Good.

If this ^ ^ ^ is all true, someone should really jump on that thing. They are fast, rare and 75 K miles is NOT a lot for that 5.4 engine!!

well we havent seen pics yet...it could be over priced! lol we can't know! The tranny could be ready to go any day, lots of factors! But ya bought mine for $22.5k about 2 years ago with only 55k miles

I bought my first C55 last week. 2006, 57,000 miles for $17,600. Pre purchase inspection said the car was in excellent condition. Love it so far. Good luck with the sale. Seems like a price that you should be able to move quickly. Only problem is most people don't understand what these cars are. They think they are standard c class.

Yeah, sorry all. The forum doesnt seem to want to upload my photos. I'm happy to email quality photos to an interested buyer. Shes Iridium Silver with Black Leather Interior. All Factory no mods. Drivetrain is solid. I bought from a wholesale dealership in TX March 2012 for just under 20k. Trust me I dont want to sell for much less but markets dictate price.

Pushing the OEM options hard and trying to boost their appeal isn't gonna get you all that far considering we all know what they are! lol especially when you post it in the C55 section! But hey thats just my 2c as a current C55 owner and previous c230 owner and member of this site for the past several years. Those details are more for autotrader and craigslist etc...
and again pictures would help prove condition and quality of the car as most people are gonna quickly glance your post and move on if there are no pictures

Just saying, but I bought my C in March and remember seeing yours listed back then for a bit more. I don't remember why I steered clear of it but I will say this. using a forum of current C owners that might have a friend that wants one is a good idea. But using generic information doesn't help us and when you post your Ad here on 8/21 for $16,000 and on Craigslist on 8/20 (updated) for $14,500 (which screams, "there is something wrong with my car") I am probably not recommending further investigation to a friend.
