1984 W201 Mercedes 190D 2.2L
Rare 1984 W124 190D 2.2L Manual
Hi guys. I've been on this forum for a while mostly doing research for myself and my parents Mercedes. I live in SoCal, and I'm registering now because I thought this might be a great place to sell my little diesel.
I have a very rare and clean Mercedes 190 Diesel from 1984. It's one of only a handful to come to the states with a manual transmission. This car was a very difficult find, and just so happens to be a great transmission swap for you Mercedes Wagon guys.
I'm selling as is, no frills. The car did not come with an interior, save for the dash and two front seats. I do have the center console and other miscellaneous items that came with the car from the previous owner.
Car runs and drives flawlessly. It's on the original clutch (surprisingly still in great condition), and it's second engine (original engine stopped running at 245,xxx). I just did an oil change, brand new fan belt, and air filter.
Mostly everything works in this car, including sunroof, electric passenger side window mirror, windows (save for drivers side rear), horn, signals, fog lights, etc...
Really the only things that are not functioning are the odometer (past operational limits and I believe has over 300K miles now), Hazard lights, AC (just needs a re charge and center console put back), and the rear drivers side window as I stated before.
Never needs to be smogged as diesels only dating back to 1994 need to be. I was originally going to have this as my project, but I haven't found the time or funds to complete it.
I'm asking $2,750, and I'm willing to take offers. Please no trades. Feel free to e-mail me for offers, pics, or questions! Carfreak226@gmail.com
(Any more picture requests I will be happy to send!!)
