I feel $37000 is the right # for someone who is truly looking for this type of example. Please don't hate on me relative to an 05 sedan pricing model..I get that this would be $10 k less in a 4 door.

Other E55's have sold for that or close to with similar low mileage and some people would rather have the E55 versus the E63, I know i would!

E63 for me. IMHO, 63 engines give me more of a BLAST effect when compared (both stock) to the 55's.

Poll idea anybody?

I like them both and would love to get one day...just having a tough time getting over the premium for wagon vs. the sedan. For the delta, i could have buy another MB wagon on the side.

"Blast effect"? I guess it was not working on this E63 wagon? Start at 2:25

Interesting. Was it me, or did the car not sound right? Plus, it also sounded like the shifting too early?

I've seen this video before, E55 is not STOCK, which basically proves my point. Thank you!

Winefan, sorry for going OT. I will make this post and we can get back on track to selling your car. At least you are getting some free bumps

The white one had a tune, but that was it. The E55 was rated at 469hp from the factory and the E63 at 507hp or a difference of 38hp.

The BIP E55 tune yielded 32rwhp which would make the cars pretty close on paper.

I still think the E55 is stronger stock and the performance gap widens even more as cooling and breathing mods are added.

Only if you understand the math. Peak HP numbers are far from the whole story. The shape and breadth of the torque curve matter as much.

W211 E55 Wagon, E46 M3
Let's not make this into an E55 vs E63 on someone elses FS thread. Also if this is priced right, this car should go very quickly.

I also just picked up a low mileage (45k) E55 wagon from Cali a month ago and am still in awe with the performance and practicality of the car. What a sleeper! The next owner is going to love this car!

Free bump and GLWS on an insane wagon!

GLWS...love the wagon.
Just my 2 cents - if you indeed want PREMIUM price for your wagon, I think it needs to be showroom. Comments like ding, wheel rash, etc... take away from potential buyer's perception that your car is PREMIUM(well cared for), imo.

That and more than 1 pic would be great for potential buyers who can't find it listed anywhere else (unless i'm missing something)...
