2004 E55 AMG Mercedes *516 lb/ft Torque w/ 469hp *0-60 in 4.5 seconds! - $16,750
*To everyone that inquired 2 weeks ago, the car is back for sale. The fellow in Maryland, I was holding the car for and who had given me a deposit, is now unable to come up with the funds.
2004 Mercedes Benz E55 AMG with Panoramic roof in excellent condition and heavily optioned. I purchased the car in 2006 Certified Pre-Owned with extended warranty from Mercedes of Oakland. As a certified pre-owned, the car has been under warranty most of its life, and dealer serviced by Mercedes its entire life. The car is optioned with what I believe is the best color combination, Tectite Gray with the 2-tone Anthracite and Navy leather interior. New Michelin Pilot Sport tires were just installed at a cost of $1,150. If you have been looking for an E55, this is the one to buy. The condition is amazing, with the interior and exterior look near new. Recent service included all new belts, including supercharger belt. The current mileage is 97,602. I have owned the car for nearly 8 years. All books and records are with the car. The car is heavily optioned, with keyless go with push button start, steering wheel shifters, the coveted, rare, panoramic front/rear sunroof, navigation, Harmon Kardon sound, bi-xenon headlights, ventilated seats with adjustable lumbar support, smoked wood trim, alcantara suede headliner, and parking sensors. I have found the car absolutely incredible to drive. When I started looking for this car I contemplated an E63, but found I much preferred the awesome low end power of the E55 with the 516 lbs/ft torque bringing it from 0 to 60 in 4.5 seconds. It was the quickest production sedan in the world. And Road & Track put it best when they said "It's inevitable that one day there will be quicker sedans than the E55 AMG. But we can wonder if any will possess the same balance of refinement, poise, and performance that makes the E55 so brilliantly complete."
