This is not an easy thing for me to do as these cars, in this kind of shape, do not come up very often. It took me six years to find THE RIGHT ONE.

I am selling my pristine, 1986, unmolested, only 55K documented miles, five speed manual getrag trasmision, "Smoke Silver", European Version 190E 2.3-16V.

I am not going to ramble on the history of this car; Google it if you must. I will say, however, that this car shares the exact same specs with the ones Nikky Lauda and Ayrton Senna (among other giants) drove around the Nurburgring back in 1984.

This car has been maintained in a controlled environment garage its entire life and I will post pictures as soon as I get back in town. Work takes me away from home for days or weeks at a time, so please bear with me.

My car comes with EXTENSIVE service and history documentation, all the way back to 1985 when it was legally imported to the US. Once it was federalized, it was then brought back to its European specifications , lighter, faster than NA's 16V's. It also comes with a build sheet from Daimler indicating every option this car was built with.

ZERO accidents, no stories; a clean CARFAX is available upon request.

EVERYTHING is original, down to the fully functional lap timer and has ZERO rips or tears on the RECARO seats. The paint is immaculate.

As mentioned before, I will post photos as soon as I get home, within a week or two.

I also feel that my asking price is very reasonable for such a special car in this condition. I have followed actual sales prices for NA's Cossies with double the miles, no documentation and delayed maintenance. For only a couple thousand dollars more, someone will take home the more powerful Euro 16V, which at only 55K documented miles is one of the lowest mileage Cossies in the US.

I asked my wife to take the car out of the garage this evening (little nerve wrecking because she is not really good with a manual car. She did not even clean the car for the photo either ) and snap a picture (herein attached). I am the first one to complain when people try to sell a car with poor photos but I will do my best to make up for it when I get home.

I would like to take this opportunity to publicly answer a few common questions that I have been asked by PM's or emails:

1. The car entered the US in December 28th, 1985. A letter from the USDOT and NHTSA certifies that this rare car was legally imported and can be titled anywhere in the US. Available upon request; included with the car.

2. Yes, the car comes with two original sets of keys.

3. Yes, the timing chain was replaced only 1100 miles ago. I also have the receipt for this work.

4. No payments by Western Union accepted; heard too many horror stories. Accepted methods of payment include cash in hand, Paypal, bank-to-bank wire transfer or certified check. The car will only be released once funds have cleared.

5. Yes, me or my wife will assist the new owner to get the car on a transporter if he/she needs it. I have purchased many cars from out of State and it is such a relief when the seller helps you to get your new car home. PLUS it is good Karma

I have two sets of OEM factory floor mats. Your choice of ONE set of black (as pictured) or gray. I personally like the grey ones because in my opinion they lighten up the interior. It is a matter of personal preference at the end of the day.









Blaupunkt radio with CD inistalled. Car comes with factory Becker radio as well.




As far as I know, only European versions came with leveling headlights (fully functional). Anyone, please feel free to correct me if I am mistaken.




Fully documented mileage. Notice this European model revs up to 8,000RPM's while the NA versions reached only 7,000RPM's.
