Looking for G Wagon Cabrio
Hi all - new here. Ive embarked on a recent journey to locate a late 80s to early 90s (300ge preferably) G Wagen cabrio. It doesnt have to be pristine, just needs to be an automatic. Ive ran across a few late 80s 280ge's, not out of the question but they have all been manual. Anyone here selling or perhaps have seen / know someone that is? Thanks in advance for any help.

I think the one in Sea Cliff is an aftermarket 4 door version that had its roof cut off vs. the factory cars which are two door SWB.
Maybe when it comes to this car you can't be too picky. It probably wouldn't be too difficult for a good independent mechanic to swap your manual out for an auto.

There is a convertible 2-door g-wagon, mid 80s maybe, that is in ICON derelict condition that I see in the Marina late at night some times. I think it parks in the Haight, and the truck has a soft top, mid wheel base. It is AWESOME and has big tough lookin tires

Yea, the 4 door is probably Newport custom. They do a great job. As for auto, I've looked at potentially swapping the stick but finding the right aorta is almost as difficult. The 1990+ are much more common in auto, just having problems actually finding the vehicle. If anyone comes across one for sale pls don't hesitate to let me now. Thanks much.

Thanks - I've contracted Russ @GWagen however he did not have any very early W463's yet. I was hoping for a 90-92 that would fall around a 30k price point. Ran into one recently that was offered at half that but needed too much work. Thanks for all the help so far.
