I bought this car right after a local lawyer who bought it in GA traded it in. The car has ALWAYS been garaged day and at work. The car is immaculately clean. As you can see in the pics, two right side wheels have a little curb rash that isn't noticeable enough for me to fix.
BEST PART: I had my Mercedes mechanic replace the head bolts with the new design AND according to the TSB from Mercedes, replace the Tappets and Buckets with those from the SLS.
ABC works, Top Works, Oil changed with nothing but Kendal oil. Upper Ball joints and Batteries changed. $11k of work
My detail guy did a full buffer paint correction and full detail of interior including cleaning carpet and treating leather. Car smells like new inside. AND he Opticoated the wheels,glass and paint (google Opti Coat it is amazing) You could eat off the Motor. Not driven in rain since detail. $972
Hankook tires have about 5k on them. We baby the car. No racing etc. I have all receipts from work. Car has no warranty.
This car needs nothing but a new owner.

Short version:
Had a deal trade for a CPO 2012 GL550 plus $2k from me. I had told them for weeks that I wanted a GL550 with less than 50k miles, No BLACK, and HAD TO BE CPO.
Got down to the final minutes of the deal. Got to the IOU part. Told them I needed an owners manual, floor mats, and the in service date so I would know exactly how many years of warranty I would have. Under his breath, the saleshole said " yeah, we dropped the CPO to meet your price" He said I had to pay $1600 more
After blowing up at him, he said go home and think on it
I effin HATE dealerships. Although it is tempting to take it up there and just let them buy it, I could not live with myself.

What is sad is the level of greed. The car met all the cpop requirements. He was going to cpo the SL which is something I can't do as an individual and easily make 5-7k off my car without have to do anything but put it on the lot. Whereas I would be paying $50,000 for a gl550 the dealer he transferred it from I later found out had it for sale for 47500 with cpo. If he would hav stuck to our deal and cpo Ed the gl550 he would have made $2500 off me plus 5-7k off my SL.
In retrospect I'm glad I didn't do it. A 2012 cpo gl550 with low miles is a dead even trade for my SL. I was just giving them $2000 since it was going to be an easy local deal. It should have been a dead even swap. So you can see why I was pissed when they asked for 1600 more.

Thanks. It is the nicest, Lowest priced, most bullet proof example out there.
I wouldn't touch one that hasn't had the head bolt and tappett and bucket issues resolved.
At my OBO price I am giving it away essentially since I have over 60k in it with repairs.
Very Tempted to just keep it.
But, I would lose more money of I sold my GTR
