Here is my initial thread when I contemplated selling after purchase:
https://mbworld.org/forums/mercedes-...condition.html
This is 1 of 196 E55 Wagons imported in 2005 and 2006 and rumored to be 1 of 5 Designo cars. Its in as close to immaculate condition as you will find for a E55 Wagon, inside and out. The search for this car consumed my life for a few months but it was well worth it. The car was in outstanding condition when I bought it (CPO ended in 2012 soon after I bought it) and has enjoyed an open checkbook since. Oil service performed every 5,000 miles and the car has been handwashed at least weekly. All receipts for maintenance work completed are available. Title in hand.

4-Wheel alignment
Faulty Keyless Go Handles replaced
Supercharger belt replaced
New spark plugs
New battery
New front ball joints
New rear main seal
New front and rear brakes

The car needs nothing. Everything works as intended. I welcome inspection by a Mercedes dealer or competent indy shop at buyer's expense. The car is being driven occasionally so mileage may vary.
I just had the car serviced at Mercedes Benz of Boston and it has received a clean bill of health. The fuel pump was sticking so I had it replaced. Between that and the senders replaced under goodwill, the whole fuel system has been replaced essentially. The car also got its scheduled oil service and is ready to go.

Good eye on the grille. I am not a big fan of how the distronic grille looks so when my original one started looking a little pitted, I decided to replace it with an oem non-distronic one. Functionality is exactly the same. This can be changed out for the original at a buyers request.
