Hi, everyone I've been using the forums for info for a while now, but just got around to making my account. I used this forum to help buy my clk55 which I've had for 3 years. Absolutely love it but unfortunately the time has come to sell the her. I am finishing my studies and want to focus my time and money getting through college. Between maintaining which I love to do and a folder full of citation tickets (front license plate, noise, seed I am sad to sell it but I know i'll be back on the road and forums soon! I know it's lame for this to be my first official posting but here is my 2001 black/black clk55 with a few upgrades:
Car has 123,222 freeway (against commute) miles
c55 rims w/ light curb rash when purchased
H&R springs- car is stock height but have 4 H&Rs
Koni yellow adjustable rebound shocks
Carbon Fiber VIS hood, carbon fiber rear window spoiler, and carbon fiber side mirrors w/ led lights
Resonator delete, **still have OEM resonator
engine and transmission have been properly serviced
I have put in a few parts myself such as engine mounts, PU control arm bushings, fuel pump and cl55 exhaust tips.
This car pulls at every speed imaginable and brakes almost rip my eyes out On a side note some may notice the car has a 320 sport bumper; I had big plans for this car, after having the vis hood installed i was looking into a front lip conversion (more downforce and CF ) dismally it is impossible to attach a front lip to the preexisting clk55 208 bumper. Figured out that a 320 bumper can and my amg bumper was basically 50% zip ties anyways so I went ahead to putting on a 320 sport bumper with matching color! I got H&RS anticipating my next move but as I stated before I don't have much of a choice now but to sell. This car lowered with a brabus front bumper lowered on H&Rs would be a real head turner in my mind. All in all i want it to go to a driver who will take care of this car as much as I did. Im located in Northern California but am willing to travel a good amount of distance to reach the right buyer.
