Hello MBWorld!
It is time to let go of my pride and joy. I am relocating to Texas for work and currently downsizing. I have always driven BMW's (M3's) in the past and this was my first Mercedes. It was the best choice I have ever made! I have had nothing but joy and a smile on my face every time I sat in this supercharged beast.
I have owned it for 2 years now and I bought it from an older lady who no longer was driving it. It has always been dealer maintained. Clean and clear title. No stories.
Below you will find a detailed list of options, modifications, and maintenance.
OEM Options
- Brilliant Silver Metallic
- Charcoal Interior leather
- Factory Navigation
- Active Ventilated Seats (Heat and Massage)
- Bose Sound
- 80,xxx miles
Maintenance
- Service B at 79k miles
- Supercharger Clutch Bearing replaced at 76k miles
- Alternator replaced at 77k miles
- Starter battery replaced at 79k miles
- ABC Suspension fluid flushed at 78k miles (very important preventative maintenance)
Suspension/Brakes/Wheels
- HRE wheels not included in sale. 2007+ OEM AMG wheels are included.
- Suspension components inspected with no issues
- Lowering links installed for an aggressive stance (can be raised if wanted at a touch of the ABC button)
- H&R Spacers (15mm front & rear)
- Rear fenders cut and sealed to prevent rubbing
- Full balance and alignment just done in January
Exterior Modifications
- Carbon Fiber front lip purchased from Suvneer here on MBworld
- SL63 rear deck lip painted in Brilliant Silver
- Color Matched front side markers
- 5000k Hid D2S Bulbs
- 5000k Hid Fog Lights
- Grill painted black
- Headlights polished and clear coated to prevent yellowing
Performance
- STAR Diagnostic ECU coding to remove limiter
- STAR Diagnostic ECU coding to European cluster and lighting settings
- Rear resonator removed (included in sale)
