Hello everyone. Mercedes enthusiast (10yrs on the *other* forum) selling a 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560SEL. It has a Midnight Blue exterior with Palomino interior. I bought it 6 years ago from the original owner. It has 71,500 miles. The car has spent most of its life in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Very well documented service history. File literally inch thick with receipts. About $15,000 spent on maintenance in the last 5,000 miles. This includes the following;

Top end engine rebuild and related work;
- New head gasket, intake manifold gaskets, exhaust manifold gaskets, valve cover gaskets etc...
- New valve stem oil seals and guides
- New plenum gaskets (pretty much anything made of rubber in the engine bay has been replaced)
- New vacuum lines
- New timing chain
- New timing chain tensioner

- New SLS Rams (hydropneumatic shocks x2)
- New SLS accumulators/nitrogen spheres x2

- New tires (and rims were professionally refurbished)

Steering work;
- Rebuilt steering gearbox
- New steering tie rods (inner and outer on both sides)

- New rear windscreen. Imported from Germany (replaced due to delamination of defroster element)

Heater work;
- New HVAC blower motor
- New heater monovalve

Brake work;
- New brake discs/rotors (x4)
- New brake pads (x4)

Interior work;
- New odometer gears
- New cruise control stalk (cruise control works!)
- New floor mats
- All wood trim refinished at Madera Concepts

Misc;
- New Bosch battery

Always genuine Mercedes parts used when available. No URO or Febi-Bilstein Chinese crap installed.

Under body was rust proofed with Corrosion Free 3000 many years ago.

The car starts and idles well. Good oil pressure. No vacuum leaks. No overheating. Transmission shifts well and kick down works. No leaks on garage floor.
