WTB: S211 6.2 Liter V8 WAGON

Original, unmodified, mint condition. Less than 45,000 miles give or take. Must have never been in an accident. Preferably has been optioned with limited slip differential (should be standard in any rear drive car with 500+ HP IMO). Require full documented service history, car must have been properly maintained and garaged. Preference to designo interiors, unassuming exterior color schemes (i.e., brown, burgendy, green), and original owner vehicles.

No S211.277 AMG sold in the USA was ever equipped with the P30 performance package, and therefore never came with the OEM AMG LSD.

Also, only one was ever sold with a designo interior as per https://mbworld.org/forums/mercedes-...ml#post6071236

Good luck!

Thanks for educating. Any idea of aftermarket or OEM retrofit mechanical locking differentials for S211.277 AMG's stateside? Was the w211 AMG available with the P30 performance package in the USA?

Looks like I don't want black, silver or gray...

I may also consider an R63...but likely not. I'm not sure.

Weistec is a very competent tuner in AMGs running the M156 (they are also the only aftermarket tuner I've seen in official AMG Private Lounge events). Regarding the diff, they sell and install

The w211 E63 sedan did have the P30 performance package, but it is pretty rare. Although you should verify from the buildsheet derived from the VIN, you can tell if a sedan has the P30 pkg because the 18" wheels are multipiece and look like these:

The R63 AMG is probably the rarest AMG in recent production. It was sold only in 2007 and discontinued due to very poor sales. It is also significantly slower compared to the w211 estate/sedan version due to its weight. It also only seats 6 while the estate can seat 7.

That said, both of these are pretty rare regardless of color. Definitely fun family vehicles that's for sure.
