We've had the car for 10months now, and have three other vehicles just no need for it anymore.

Since I've never really seen a lease takeover done on this forum. What benefit would someone have to takeover your lease if they have to go through MB financial anyway. Why would they not just deal directly with MB at that point?

Actually sounds like a good deal to me. Try and get a 24 month lease 10k a year for $399 with only $600 down. Not "new" but fully covered by warranty during term.

Even if you drive 15,000 a year it only adds $100 to monthly.

How is sales tax handled on these takeover leases if the car is moved to a new state? Many states have differing tax laws regarding leases.

Deal actually sounds great but again I'm wondering if you can get an approval on that deal why not just start from scratch on your own with MB.
Just curious since I've never seen it mentioned on here before.
I guess a lease takeover would lock you into a great agreement vs going in from scratch and taking a leap of faith that you can get the same terms.

I've never had a lease in my life out of the 8 cars I've owned. I just put way to many miles on my cars a year. I'm hovering in the 25k a year area over the last few years. So was just interested in how it works for those in the know.

Good luck with the sale.

Looking quickly at the published E300 4matic lease deal for a 36 month 10k lease it would cost about $700 a month with only $600 and 1st payment out of pocket.

Damn good deal for a 24 month especially when I like the 350 better

You'd just pay the sales tax based off where you live. We pay 19.00 a month towards sales tax a month.

And if you go to swapalease, you won't find too many in the $399 range although sometimes the seller will pay the lease transfer fee. If you get a deal from MB, usually the best price is in the $500+ a month range and then if there's a down payment requirement, your effective monthly rate is actually higher. But you do end up with a new car instead of one that has several months of usage on it.

Too many
transfer fee is 595 plus local sales tax
also they require another check for one month lease payment ahead
I just finished transferring my lease on GLA45 to a friend
process was longer than BMW lease transfer , first stage was 2 weeks, second stage was one week
also require notary of both parties signature which can be done at AAA
