Not new to the area, MB, or the site. I recently moved back to VA from CA. I'm in King George, VA. anyone interested in a NOVA meet? I know there's not a TON of local mb guys here, but it could be fun!

Big and Heavy 03 CL
no mb shops really for late model cars, these cars are too computerized for most shops to want to touch (The Euro places that do MB/Audi/bmw's the few that I've called don't want to deal with late model mb cars) ...you have airmatic suspension, electrical gremlins and issues requiring STAR it's going to need specialized help...you can make a friend at a dealer, someone you trust...or use a manual and try doing stuff yourself or use the dealer sparingly...I've used Euromotorcars in Bethesda before with decent results...
im in Ashburn out by Dulles Airport.
If you don't mind coming out this way, Funktion Motorsports will do whatever you need. I have an 03 CL and my buddy brings his 05 C55 to them and they do great work. I've never had any issues with their work. And they aren't so high-brow that they only work on euro cars or exotics. They do regular work on my 01 P71 Interceptor. They bill by the hour no matter what the job. I think they are either $88 or $92 an hour.

google search GWS MBCA and go to their website and register. There's an annual fee but it's not much, and you get STAR magazine, event notifications etc...I've been a member for a few years..
