wannaGOFAST - Virginia 1/2 Mile Private Runway Shootout - May 2nd & 3rd, 2015!!

wannaGOFAST.com is proud to present the Virginia 1/2 Mile Shootout!! This incredible 2-DAY event will be held on May 2nd & 3rd, 2015 at the stunning Ingalls Field Airport (www.ingallsfield.com) in Hot Springs, VA...only 90 minutes north of Roanoke! Nestled in the Allegheny Mountains this airport provides one of the most incredible backdrops we've ever seen for High Speed Fun!! Come join us for 2 FULL DAYS of, side-by-side, HALF MILE racing at this rare and exclusive location. All of our participants will be given a chance to take their vehicle’s Top Speed down Ingalls Field’s private 5600ft runway and race door-to-door against the competitor of their choice!! See what it’s finally like to race without the restrictions of speed limits, on what is basically your own private raceway in the mountains!! This event is limited to only 135 cars per day and is sure to sell out quick!! So register today and we promise to make your automotive DREAMS come true!!

The "Official" Host Hotel is The World Renown Omni Homestead Resort & Spa (www.thehomestead.com) of Hot Springs, VA. Pricing will start at $199/ea per night. A group reservation page link will be uploaded soon so you can begin booking your reservations for this event. Please DO NOT book your reservations until this link has been uploaded....this will save you time and money! The Resort has also agreed to give us some very generous parking space for your cars, race trailers, etc....as well as vehicle washing stations! This Resort is also a short drive to the airport!

The Driver Registration deadline is April 3rd, 2015. It is very likely this event will sell out far BEFORE the deadline...our most recent event sold out in UNDER 2 HOURS!! So please register on February 20th, 2015 to ensure your spot for May 2nd & 3rd, 2015.

Pricing:

Drivers:

$225/ea (per day) in advance before February 27th, 2015, or $400 for a 2-Day Pass.

$250/ea (per day) in advance after February 27th, 2015, or $450 for a 2-Day Pass.

**To register as a "Driver" for both days simply click on the "2DayPass" Option in the drop down menu.

All Driver's will be treated to a private catered lunch!

Driver’s you must Pre-Pay Online!

*There is no limit to the number of passes you can make! You will only be restricted by the turnover time that each runs takes.

Spectators:

Adults: $15/ea (per day)
Children 12 and under: $5/ea (per day)

  • All driver’s will be required to wear helmets for this event.
  • We take cash only at the gate for spectators.
  • Spectators must provide their own tents and chairs for this event.
  • All speeds will be recorded with a dual-lane speed trap system.
