ML55 performance chip upgrade?
Hello im new to this forum and just got my hands on a ML55AMG this past april (2005). I have heard rumors of a performance chip upgrade for the ML55 but have not been able to find it online. It'd be a great help if someone could tell me if the chip does exist. i got smoked by a camaro the other day and was embarassed

I can get you the RENNtech ECU chip which will remap your shifting patterns, improve throttle tip-in, and give you more hp and torque.
PM me if you want the price. It's a fantastic chip and it's usually one of the first mods people do to their cars.
Something else you want to think about is getting a better set of air filters to improve the engines breathing capabilities.

didnt they discontinioud ML55 back in 2003/4? how could it be 2005?

Ya its a 2001, i didnt get it new way too big of a budget for a 18 yr old hehe...but id love to get a quote on that renntech upgrade, currently i swapped the stock air filter for a K&N already, this chip wont ruin my warranty will it?

Here's the really cool thing about RENNtech, a LOT of dealers are RENNtech authorized dealers as well, but the ones that aren't, know what they are anyways. Most dealers are friendly, but just incase you do encounter one that will reflash your ECU back to stock, just tell us. We'll take the proper information and verify that it's your for your specific car, and we'll reflash your ECU back to RENNtech standards
