SF Bay area ML55 owners.. help!
Hi guys... i just purchased a used '00 ML55 last weekend and I'm not sure if I have the MCS NAVi installed or not. I press the NAVi button and I get "insert disc" message. However, there were no discs that came with the car so I need someone's help specially for the bay area folks that is willing to meet up with me and borrow the NAV cd and test if it works. I found some CDs for sale on ebay and I wouldn't commit of buying it until I know my MCS NAVi works fine.
And also, another question. I have a 6 disc changer. Can I still play my CDs even when running the NAVi on? Just wondering.
On my wife's Acura TSX, her navi is DVD driven and it's external located in the trunk and it's always on constantly. Acura's navi works flawlessly if anyone cares.

That's a rather bold request. Mine didnt have the cd either, went to dealer and bought the 135 dollar son of a *****. It will work fine. Might now work for the first few hours/ or day, it needs to triangulate your gps position that can take a few. There shouldn't be anything wrong with it, just missing the navi cd.

No requests are too bold, some just get ignored. E-mail me, I have the discs and you are welcome to try them. I am in Livermore. They are from a 2001 so hopefully they should work.

Test it then go to Ebay and get them,...I got mine for $40 disc 6,7,8 However I did not get the booklet so try to get that included. $275 not bad, my dealer wanted close to $400 for a full set, I only needed the northeast and not a full set. How many times am I going to drive to montana,...lol
