ML63 Missing square under bumper
Does anyone know why there is a missing square under the passanger side bumper on the first bumper extrusion?. At least mine has that. There is an accesable bolt to tighten somthing. What is that for?

Mine has it too.... I don't have any idea what it does. I started to grab a wrench then talked myself out of it. You shouldn't start messing around with something when you don't know what it does. I'll ask when I take it in for the 1000 mile check up.

I believe that is where you insert the large eye bolt that you would use to tie/hold the car down.
The square, or cover... is a weak link (breaks easily) and is not supposed to be missing.
