Drops like a lead Weight

Of the 4 quarters on the Gas gauge, The one between Full and 3/4 goes like a lead weight....Between 3/4 and 1/4, you got a little time, and between 1/4 and empty, the bottom falls out....Could be the shape of the gas tank that narrows at the top but this Sucker drinks like Dean Martin.
When using the manual shift program, I doubt whether I am getting 10 MPG!!!!!

But even my wallet enjoys the thrill I am getting...Got 4000 miles and the suspension feels a little more comfy in sport on the highway....

BTW the extended up suspension is strictly for low speed gentle use...a bump at speed will knock you out the window....Air suspension is notorious for that although the Cayenne could be driven at upper height levels and still be comfortable...Too bad they could not good old fashioned oil dampened KONI's

I have to agree, that first quarter drops quite quickly compared with other cars, it lasted me maybe 90km. Granted it IS my first tank so it may not be accurate.

It's not the tank's shape, it's the gas guage that's screwing you/us. Ever since I started driving cars, the one thing that bugs me a million ton is the gas guage, the top 'half' is more than the bottom 'half', and there is extra above the full mark. I believe someone told me before that the car companies do that on purpose, to deceive people who ONLY drives the car to half tank and fill up again, makes them think the car is getting better gas millage. I am not sure why the American lawyers don't pick this up and sue the pants off all the car makers who does this, as these lawyers already are suing everything under the sun.
Most gas guages that I have come across do between 60-40 to 70-30 splits, top 'half' being the bigger side, I think this is a very un-ethical practice it basically says screw you customers, I am cheating you but you still thinks I am great.
