I have paid £74,000..

for my ML63, am picking it up tomorrow
I think this equates to about $145,000.
My UK price includes Brabus Monoblock V1 22" wheels, auto 'back door', tinted back windows, hardon kardon stereo & phone wiring.
Interested to know how my price would compare to US price (for similar spec)?

Thank's.

what % discount did you get off retail for your 63?
I am currently close to doing a deal on a 63 and I am looking for 5% realistic discount.
Congrats on the car

Congrats on the car

I don't deal with MB, I buy through a dealer (who gets me better prices),
I'll pm you his details sirees01, I suggest you give him a call. I give him the full spec & the best price that a dealership is prepared to offer me & he always beats it (by a few grand).

Congrats on the new ride! As for comparable value...do you really want to know? Well OK...Most of what you mentioned except for the Brabus wheels is std. on US spec. ML'63's. Other things you did not mention but are expensive add ons are, distronic, rear seat DVD, Parktronic, Keyless Go, lighting pkg. and more.

An average well optioned US spec ML63 is about $94K to $98K less the average discounts of about $4K. Let's assume a final price of about $93,000 plus sales taxes of 8% for a total of about $100,440... that would equate to about 50,984 pounds.

I assume the Brabus wheels are a rather expensive add on as well, so that would need to be tacked on at the end.

You have a wonderful advantage over we Americans in that you live in a country full of rich heritage, marvelous history, and a much stronger than the dollar currency. I hope to one day take the opportunity to visit the UK and spend a few weeks of quality time there myself. And yes, because of the poor state of the dollar, I'll be sure to bring my wallet.

no probs, let me know how you get on, like I say, give him the best price that
you have been quoted (say 8% under, if this other contact can get you that) & usually he'll beat it (easily)..

collected a 63 for the weekend from my local dealer.
I love it, NA engines are the biz IMO.

Black on black, we have for the weekend.
There is one available in the showroom which catches my eye

What do you guys think of this combo:
Cubanite Silver on Black Nappa

I have a photo of this vehicle on my phone, but can't transfer it from bluetooth to laptop at the moment.

If anyone can do this i'll send the pic to you from my phone.

In the past I've always been told that 'superguard' type treatments were a must for Black cars but recently I have been advised that they are a complete waste of money

You're kidding.

They're just giving you dealer speak

ML 63 (Planned)
Wink

Guys,

I'm a newbee here and learning lots from the posts I've read to date.

Currently trying to get the best deal possible on a new ML63 and keen to know if the deal on offer from Motorlogix.com is good in the current market.

I have been offered an ML63 (Jan 08) build for March 08 delivery with the following extras:-

20" alloys
Privacy glass
Parktronic
Bluetooth prep
Tyre pressure monitoring

All in for £70,500 OTR. This works out at just over 8%.

This seems to be in-line with others experiences of discounts. Is there much more discount for the dealers to play with and how much of a deposit did they require ?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Regards
Marvin
