no one answered you cause it was a pretty silly question, OF COURSE!
on my ml55 (2000) i needed a flat head to pop off the covers, then a 10 mill
and a star shaped bit for the middle .

no rack...
waiting for my roof caps so i have them coverd with 3m rockguard to keep the water out till then..

I called MB parts dept today and they couldn't locate any patches for deleting the roof rails...? If anyone has any info please chime in, otherwise I'll plan on customizing plates to fill the holes.
