hi everyone
hey all...
as u can see, i'm new to the forum. so i just wanted to say hi from qatar, and introduce my self.
i'm a 33 y old banker/mtotrcycle rider/car inthusiast from Qatar. married for 3.5 years and expecting our first born
i own a 997 GT3, Ducati 1098s, and an ml 500 that i just sold. and i'm looking to replace it with an ml63 that's arriving in another 20 days.
i was wondering if there is any posibility to add a towing bar to the ml63 once it arrives. the car was preorderd with out it and it's neccesarry for me to tow my bike to the track.
any info would be much apreciated

welcome. when i was looking at the ml63 i was told it could be done but adding it to your car would void the warranty. the rules may differ in your country but i would ask the dealer before you do anything

Add the filters, the dealerships are dum they dont notice most of the stuff like filters or an ecu update. BMC filters last for 50,000 miles and when you service your car after you rack up the miles just mention them to clean the cabin filter, replace oil and not to remove your airfilters.

Yes, you can add a towing package at the dealership for your ML 63...My brother just did it on his...I had mine done at the factory, but he just bought one off the lot without it...

thanks for the info Doc.
i honestly don't know what to do .. see they told me that the car would be here mid october so i went ahead and put a down payment.
i passed by yesterday to check if thy got any word from the factory regarding the tow bar and thought i'd ask them if everything was well & good for a mid Oct delevary.. i was shocked with the guy's answer. he simply said "will, you know what. we recieved word that the shipment was delayed and might be here by end of Nov. "
can u believe that. they hold my down payment for more than a month, and don't even bother to let me know that my car won't be in for an extra month and a half.
i think i'll go test drive the new X5 tomorrow
