Wheel Alignment Question

By answers from my last post it looks like I have to take my 63 back to the dealer for realignment because of a off center steering wheel.Are there any issues that I should worry about especially my wheels getting scratched.I know they put that big clamp on the wheels when they realign them and I have heard horror stories of dinged rims.Something to mention to the dealer or any other advice?
