UPGRADE your ML63

Hi guys, I have bought my ml more than year ago. I love this car and I don't want to change it for any other, this car became very odd through out a year. And now, I'm thinking of modifying it, I already ordered brabus widestar exterior and monoblock VI R22 in graphite.
Can anyone help me to find any custom grille for it?
Which lowering module is better renntech/brabus/kleemann or carlsson? Or it is just the matter of price?
What else can you recommend for the exterior/interior/perfomance?
Thanks a lot!

The Renntech module works well for me and I don't know about the others. Certainly an ECU upgrade is worth doing. The truck handles much better a couple inches lower.

For starters I would buy the spring booster. For the 300$ you'll get better response from the vehicle.
I would also do an ECU upgrade as kokanee mentioned and remove resonators/mufflers but its pretty loud for most people IMO I freakin love it.
Powerchip is also an option. Heard the one from stealth auto is pretty reliable.
If you have money to waste why not get a set of tubular headers but thats really if you have $$$ to throw away. I know kleeman makes it for the ML63, not sure about other tuners.

different rims

would be my suggestion. Brabus has never had good rims in my opinion.

since money is not the problem obviously ... for the same price you can get much better rims.

sprintbooster is a good one so is ecu tune.

going to look badass... I would love to see pictures when your done.

As far as lowering module, we like to reccomend the Kleemann module. its very simple to use, and easily reversible. We have had no known problems to date...

PM me for special MBWorld pricing on both the WIDESTAR and kleemann lowering module...

Or you could just press the gas pedal 30% more and get better response for free.

It is a gimick and just makes the car feel more responsive because it adds 30% to whatever you do with the gas pedal. I guarantee that if you floor the car with or without the sprint booster every time you will notice absolutely no difference. If it was $25 it might be worth it because most people are lazy with the gas pedal.

We currently have a ML63 in the shop doing the RENNtech stage 2 (ECU & headers) i'll post some pictures here in a bit.

As for the ELM I would venture to say that most will say RENNtech. The RENNtech ELM is the only digital ELM out on the market, it also is plug and play and can also be reversed if need be. The remote also will be released at the end of this month, allowing you to change the settings without digging into your floor board.

On the ML, the airmatic computer system is located under the drivers floor board and is a complete PITA!~!!! to get to. With most of our ML customers we move the ELM to under the seat, but most hate the fact that they need to get out of the car, to make the adjustment. The New RENNtech V2 comes prewired for the remote. We will be installing the remote on this ML into the center consol once it is released.

Just heard a nightmare story about the ECU upgrade. Guy that goes to my stealer has a S65, bought the ECU upgrade, sent it out, got it back, great! He said it was a beast, then one month goes by and missfires, etc. Finally one morning he turned the car on and the ECU shorted or some crap and wiped out the electrical system in the S. MB had to send the ECU and Brain back to germany for replacement. Problem is, no longer under warranty and they were quoting him with a 7K dollar bill.

I just canceled my ECU upgrade.
