Timing chain
I have a small rattleing noise from in front of the engine (maybe a rattle snake....).
Could it be the timing chain. or the tensioner/guide?
I've took the belt of to exclude the pump, generator etc.
My ML 55 has 200 000km (120 k miles).
Is it generally a good idea to change the chain and the tensioner/guide at this point?
I can't see anything about it in the service manual.
