2010 AMG ML63 Winter Rims

Hi

I own a 2010 ML63 AMG with 295/35R21. I have my summer tires on these 21" rims and would like to get a set of 19" rims that will work on my unit.

I have called around and Mercedes does have a solution at a cost of $900/rim 19x9.5 46mm offset. and these arent very sexy rims. So I want to find more options since I think I can do be cheaper with sexier rims.

The major problem is that the ML63 has the huge break pads and I have been told by mercedes and a tire store that if going 19" with an after market supplier is hit or miss on driving proformance.

Anyone ever deal with the following problem or have a solution?

Take a look at my build thread in my signature, especially the images on page 1. Those rims are S-Class Sport AMG 19" rims. Keep in mind I have the same brakes you do, and they do clear. Rims are 19X9.5 with ET43. These will work for your application and retains the OEM AMG look.

Just buy the rims used as well. You can find those 221 S Class rims all over eBay. I believe MSRP each rim is like $1200+ from the dealer, eBay is maybe $300 each.

Do you have a part number on your rims?

the 19 x 9.5" rims that suppose to fit on the ML63 part number is 6-6-03-0074

many AMGs and MBs
I am just running the 21's with Blizzaks. Reasonably maintain them and they will be fine. If you don't like Bridgestones you can get Pirellis as well in a 21

S-Class rear rim: 221-140-127-02

Keep in mind on my R Class it suck ever so slightly out of my fender. But since you've got fender flares, it should swallow up the rim. Don't know if it bothers you but for winter it may be a good compromise to make as the wider rim will help with traction.
