ML63 "chin" modification
Hello Everyone,
We recently purchased a 12' ML63 for my wife. The ML63 is all black and I'd like to also paint the lower silver chin spoiler gloss black as well.
Anyone have any experience on removing the lower bumper treatment? If all goes well I'd like to do the same for the back of the ML63 as well.

I don't know about removing the part in question but have you considered wrapping the silver parts in vinyl instead? That way if you don't like it, it can be easily removed or changed to some other color. Plus a lot less work and money for vinyl. My car is black also and I've been considering wrapping the lower spoiler in carbon fiber personally.

Wrapping is a good idea. A carbon fiber wrap would look great, i now have to find a good shop around me that can do it right.
I think I'll stop by an auto-body shop tomorrow and get their opinion as well.

I had my lower front lip , lower rear and the DRL silver surround done by a body shop, and it only took them one day to finish .I believe they are very easy to remove and assemble
