Check for squeaky front suspension air bags. If squeaky then they could be on way to failure and very expensive to replace.

where did you end up getting the ext. warranty from? I'm still trying to sift through all the scams out there to find a good one.

I use aaa they go through mercury insurance! I confirm by asking my Indy mb and they like them

In winter the squeeking front bags were worse. Greasing helped but the friction was still there - a design flaw so could not be helped much. As the vehicle warmed up the squeeking subsided. In Summer the squeeking was much less pronounced. Eventually by 100,000km the right bag failed completely - I swapped both out as the other one was probably going to go as well. It cost $7,000 but would be less in the USA.

When you say front bags? You mean front wheel strut?

Oh ok! So far it's not squeaking yet! I wonder if that is consider a a defect and cover under warranty
