Newbie 2010 ml 63
Hello all, picked up my little beast on Friday with 18K miles 21 inch rims and new car warranty till July 2014

Awesome!

At first I panicked...coming from the Audi A8, I was worried about the ride quality and then, I just press the gas and all is well again.

I have been doing a bit of thread reading and appreciate everyone's contributions. The team at audiworld forums have been a great knowledge base and hope to draw on same here.

Welcome to MB! I'm also an Audi-holic, LOL. Still have my stage 3 S4 to play around with but traded in my avant for the ML63. Congrats on the new ride. Great color.

Here is what maybe a newbie question...when I am in the amg menu (oil temp on the bottom half of the display and gear selection on the top) I noticed that when I am stopped, the gear shows "2" and not "1"... Am I missing something here?

When the transmission is in "C" comfort mode it will start in 2nd gear. Not while in "M" manual or "S" sport where it will start in 1st.

It's on comfort mode
Set it to sport n it will go into 1 as comfort mode starts at 2
