White smoke when I accelerate.
Hello everyone,I could use some help before I take my ride to the dealer.I drive an 08 ML 63 AMG. Last week my check engine light came on,and I noticed that it wasn't idling properly. I'm thinking a misfire maybe suggesting a tune up.However Sunday as I was driving it I hit the gas to accelerate and I noticed white smoke coming out of my exhaust.When I came off the gas it stopped.So I babied it home and shut her down.Any suggestions would be helpful.I would like to know what im dealing with before I take it to the dealership.

It sounds like a possible headbolt problem. You should probably stop driving it & have it towed to a dealer. If you've had ANY Low Coolant warnings, you absolutely need to keep it shut down & have it towed to a dealer (or very trusted indy shop). You run the risk of destroying the engine; even on the low end, with no damage it's a $4k + job.
