ML63 vs BMW X5M vs ML63 turbo

ML63 vs BMW X5M vs ML63 turbo
I've been wanting a naturally aspirated ML63, which can be found under $20k. Recently a friend has a BMW X5M for sale for $30k, 650 hp with upgrades and running coilover suspension. I also own a GL450 with a twin turbo V8, and man, I love those new turbo V8 Benz SUVs. Which has me looking at $40k ML63 turbos.
So, how much better and faster are the turbo ML63 and how would the X5M fit into this? This car won't get much use so I hate to sink $30k or $40k into a depreciating car if I can avoid it, but not sure if I'm missing out by not getting a turbo X5M or ML63. Is the N/A ML63 just a slightly faster ML550, or does it hold up against the turbo BMW/Benz?
