Real coolant temp of ML 63 AMG W164 (M156)
Has anyone checked REAL coolant temperature of ML 63 AMG (M156)?
Тhe temperature displayed on instrumental cluster is not real. M156 thermostat open at 100 C / 212 F. Temp on cluster ~ 90 C / 194 F is below real.
Mine coolant hit 108 C / 226 F at stop and go traffic (checked with OBD) on cluster is around 90 C / 194 F. At highway is around 94 C / 202 F - on cluster is 90 C / 194 F.
Max oil temp ever seen (stop and go traffic) is 117 C / 243 F with 5W40 - Castrol / Mobil / MB (oil temp is same with different oils).
On highway my oil temp is 103 - 107 C / 217 - 224 F.
