Wow that is very odd, how much different would it be in white than in silver?

Yeah we have one in our area to but I know its not real, the black gap on a white surface especially at the bottom front and rear of the cladding was very noticable. Silver has black in it so it is not as noticable. Autogunner.

Easy way to tell, if you get close enough in USA it will have an internal spare tire mounted inside the liftgate on the left side. When people add these other items they usually dont add this. The spare is in the because on ML55's they have an extra gas tank where the spare normally is, under the floor, they had to add that tank to make it go 300 miles, that is required by some goverments. So you can also look under there to see if it has the extra tank, All ML55's have it. Autogunner.

That was the weekend they let us drive ML55s on the infield track at Talladega Superspeedway, before the first 55 was delivered

I am driving a ML55, and I have no spare wheel at all (just a tyre fit kit) - and as well there is NO space below the floor in the cargo compartment. I can not even lift anything in this area !
The capacity of my tank is 93 liters ( dont know how many gallons -sorry) - is the tank bigger in the United States ??
Thank you for your reply
kind regards from France

Thats correct, you get the can of fix a flat in France and many other ECE countries. It "fix a flat" is against the law in some states in America and other countries and thats why we get the tire and air pump. Autogunner.

Or do they just remove the tire fit kit before delivery, which would make more sense... but still not explain "why we get the tire and air pump".
