Hi all,

Is it possible to engine swap my 2003 facelift ml500 (ECU: bosch ME2.8) with a 2001 pré-facelift (ECU: bosch ME2.0)?

Both m113 engine but differedifferent ECU.
Will the old ecu engine work on the new ECU computer?
Or do i need to change injectors and sensors to fit the newer ecu ME2.8 harness?

The 55 amg m113 engine from pré-facelift is much more available compared to facelift engine 2002+

ha it seems no one knows ? I would like to know also there is a ml55 near me in a junk yard but I doubt it will be there for long , sure would be nice to swap it cause I will have video of my pulling my w163 ml500 engine to do head gaskets on my YouTube channel soon ! @TheLongRanger55
