I have a lifter which stick time to time and I'm contemplating replacing them all this Christmas holidays.
I rang my local Mercedes dealer for prices on the parts and they informed me: "I have managed to track down the black edition part number, unfortunately they are no longer available to order, the part number now supersedes to a standard non-black edition part. For reference, the black edition part number is A1560500025 which supersedes to A1560500225 which is the second photo attached below"
(By the way, the parts dude seems like a legend. He got a VIN from a car in his lot to find me the parts I was looking for)
My questions is: Does anyone know if the newer superseded replacement is better than the black series lifter buckets? There are a lot of places online still selling the black series, so we do have a choice of either.
