Hi everyone,
What is there that someone can add to an ML55 to make it more perfect?
I dont have the following:

-Voice Control for the Phone
-mid-console refrigirator
-TV Tuner
-Parktronic

can any of these be installed through MB?

Anything else?

Muchas Gracias

do you have illuminated door sills? Those look pretty hott, check out my sounddomain for an example of them. Also get rid of your stock radio and replace it with an aftermarket system and you can incorperate TV, voice control, and a billion other things for your ML... center console refrigerator? hmm not a fan.

Where do you get the sills from and what do they cost?

http://www.formymercedes.com/mb_resu...or+Sill+Covers

they were 150 for the 4 sill kit. Beats the $600+ or so from the factory. I would use hot glue or sometype of epoxi on the install... the 3m tape SUCKS for mounting the sills down!!!

Also did the lower chrome grill... looks pretty hott... Fair warning though the chrome is on plastic and not metal(IE Billet alluminum)... I have had it on my ML since Julyish and think its worth it for the money.

Sweet I was looking at them and saw them from Mercedes for 600 and was like they look cool, but not that cool. They also have the hitch I need to pull my track car just need to find out why the ML55 hitch is over 60 more then the regular ML hitch.

i had a reverse warning system installed in my ml55, similar to parktronic. it was a must because of how high the truck sits. the system works very well and costs about $400 and change. i would highly recommend it. i could have had a camera installed and that would have cost about $1300 but couldnt justify the paying extra money since the sensor system works just as well in my opinion.

do the AMG sills look exactly like the original ones, from experience?

also, i dont want to replace the stock system, cuz its still new...but i want to add the VC and TV to it, do u know if that is done by MB?

and is it true that if u order the illuminated sills from MB, u only get the two for the front? cuz thats what they gave me when i ordered them in my previous C240?

other than that, i dont really really need the fridge, but it can get pretty handy in our hot weather..though it is pretty cold now and i am using the heated seats option quite frequently?

Yo hows the weather up there in Baaastin, my cuz ssays u guys got blizzard-ed?

The Reverse Warning System
hey guys, does this reverse warning system only warn you with sound or is there a light indicator? what's the stock parktronic like on the ML? and does it sound like stock or like an aftermarket? any details?

many thanks...

The stock parktronic on my ML55 has a black bar with leds on the center of the dash. When you come up to something either front or rear around 10-15' away the outside leds will light up. As you get closer more leds will light up towards the center. When you are close it will start beeping. If it is only on or more on one side the leds will light up more on that side to let you know where it is. The only problem I have with it is it does not tell you if its the front or rear which only becomes an issue in tight areas which is what it is for.

my reverse warning system beeps. the closer you get to something the faster the beep until it becomes a constant tone, at that time i'm several inches away.
