Vipertoad 2014 ML63 Build
The car had two mods already done when I bought it: Lowering Links, and Muffler Delete. The car sits perfectly for my taste, and the muffler delete gives it that throaty v8 sound it deserves. It has zero drone, and is super quiet when not on the gas hard. Screams up top however!
Of course I can't leave cars alone, so got to modding straight away. First item on the list was eliminating the chrome emblems, so I whipped out the Plastidip cans:
While it was there, I had them wrap the chrome trunk scuff plate in 3M satin black:
As for calipers, my wife wanted lime green with black AMG decals on the brakes, so went with the G2 caliper paint kit (brush on, self leveling) and cut the AMG decals with my vinyl cutter. The setup came out PERFECT!! Couldn't be happier with the wheel/tire/caliper setup. It looks absolutely stunning in person, pictures do not do it justice.
Pictures with the XO Caracas 22x10.5 installed:

I was debating with myself if Plasti-dip is the same quality on logos
than real paint and if the edge of logos from a close view looks perfect like paint or not.
what do you think?
And do you think 24" would work or 22" with a little drop is the best.

I think 24" would look goofy and compromise the ride quality. The 22" with 285/35/22 ride perfect and look amazing, especially with the lowering links.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG

why did you go with 285/35-22 and not with 295/30-22 ?
OEM are 295/35-21
295/30-22 Specs are closer to OEM by -0.3%
285/35-22 are +2.7% from OEM.
I'm wondering if the ride quality will be too hard with 295/30-22...
whats your though ?
Most likely will pick up one this December and u will see my mod picks to follow. Haven't ever left a car stock.
