ECU Flash
When i bought my ML63, i was looking for a ML with a performance package. I have looked at the flashing the ECU from a tuner, but honestly, I don't want a wild upgrade with over 650bhp, just a simple map that will guarantee longevity. Does anyone know if there is way to get a flash that from a Mercedes dealership, or one that is not so extreme as the tuners are offering?

Thanks but young was many years ago. I have had many performance cars, as well as raced Porsche factory race cars in the 90s. I appreciate your advice, but I like the size of ML/GLE and wanted to upgrade for the one option that wasn't available to me when I bought it new.

It is my understanding that Renntech is sold and installed by authorized MB dealers and I also believe that it does not void the warranty. They have a great reputation. Check and see if they have different tunes.

RT is indeed a great company. But they can indeed void the warranty. It is up to the particular dealer to fix issues with the car

I've got a 2012 biturbo ml63 running am eurocharged tune, it took the car from a lazy v8 to the animal it can be. I'm really happy with the tune amazing difference.
Also i just bought a 2nd ecu $500 ish on ebay, sent both to Eurocharged they just copied the stock one then modded the 2nd hand one. The dealer only ever gets it in stock trim unmodified for servicing...no issues.
